Fortnite 22.10 Patch Notes – October 4, 2022
Owners of the October Crew Pack will receive the Dark Nights/Red Lights Lobby Track and Dark & Red Instrumental Lobby Track.
General Fixes
Addressed the following issues.
- Hair is clipping through headwear on several outfits.
Battle Royale
Addressed the following issues.
- Storm notifications may appear lower than normal.
- Reboot card may sink if eliminated in water.
- Some trees under the Chrome effect look angular.
- Sliding can cause flashing colors to appear while pointing the camera downwards.
- Phasing through Chrome areas at the Heralds Sanctum.
- Fire VFX appears to last on Chromed building pieces.
- VFX can persist after being eliminated in the vortex.
Creative
Addressed the following issues.
- Items spawned via the Item Placer are not counted by the Player Tracker.
- Menu options on some devices will not open after exiting to the hub and reentering the Island.
Save The World
Addressed the following issues.
- Addressed an issue that is causing players’ animations to appear as gliding and rotating when running.
Mobile
Addressed the following issues.
- The “Reset to last saved position” button in the HUD Layout Tool does not return all buttons to the last saved position.
- The keyboard may not pop up for some GeForce NOW players on iOS.
