Nintendo has a track record of dropping announcements and even new games without any prior details and they’ve done it again, with a Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase broadcast going live today at 7AM PT/3PM BST.
Nintendo is listing this live stream as “the first Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, a new series focused on titles from our development and publishing partners.” and will be a little on the short side coming in at around 10 minutes long.
On 7/20 we'll debut the first #NintendoDirect Mini: Partner Showcase, a series focused on titles from our development & publishing partners. We'll share a few updates on a small group of previously-announced #NintendoSwitch games. Check out the full video release at 7am PT. pic.twitter.com/GbEbxVL6fD

In this Partner Showcase, we won’t be spoilt with any new titles but instead, we’ll see updates from already announced games for the Nintendo Switch that aren’t being developed from Nintendo themselves. Don’t think that the games on show will be lackluster though with titles such as Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, Shin Megami Tensei V, No More Heroes 3, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and Doom Eternal all being developed by third party companies so some, or even all of these, could rear their heads.
Seeing one of the big boys like Metroid Prime 4 might be a bit of a stretch due to the Direct Mini being just 10 minutes long but if we even see some of the games we’ve mentioned, it’ll be a triumph for Nintendo fans.
See you all at 7AM PT/3PM BST for all the juicy partner updates!
