NEOGEO Home Arcade System to release in North America

The original SNK NEOGEO first graced our presence back in 1990 and since then there’s been a few iterations on the arcade classics since then but now, you’ll be able to own a ‘mini’ NEOGEO arcade system and slot it right into your games room.

It was announced today that Gstone Group, who have been working closely with SNK, has announced the SNK NEOGEO MVSX home arcade system featuring 50 classic SNK NEOGEO titles. This home arcade system will be released in North America in November 2020 with 10 built-in languages.

You’ll get to experience both the MVS arcade and AES home versions of many fan-favorite titles such as The King of Fighters, Metal Slug, Fatal Fury, Samurai Shodown, Art of Fighting and sports titles including Baseball Stars Professional and Top Player’s Golf.

The arcade system itself is of a tabletop nature with a 17-inch 4:3 LCD screen. You’ll also be able to take advantage of two-player support thanks to the analog joysticks and buttons. If you were a fan of the old-school NEOGEO arcade systems, you’re going to love the red and white aesthetic, similar button configurations, and the signature marquee, displaying the box art of the most popular franchises.

If you want to get your hands on this machine, preorders for the SNK MVSX will begin September 2020 with an official launch in November 2020 under GStone Group’s UNICO brand.
