The Finals system requirements: Can you run it?

the finals system requirements

Are you an FPS player and want a brand-new experience? If so, The Finals system requirements are something you’ll definitely want to know. This new destruction-heavy FPS title is causing a stir in the gaming world, and it’s easy to assume you’ll need a top-of-the-line gaming rig to run it – especially since it’s still in the beta stage. However, the game is surprisingly well-optimized, so let’s take a look at what it takes to get it up and running.

Here are the minimum and recommended The Finals system requirements to make sure your PC is ready for some destructive and explosive action. If you need to make any upgrades, now’s the time to get it done.

As promised, here are both the minimum and recommended system requirements for The Finals:

The Finals minimum system requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit (latest update)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600X processor
  • RAM: 12GB RAM
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 580

These minimum requirements may surprise you considering that The Finals has not even released yet and Betas are usually heavier on resources than an official launch. However, we do have to mention that this is the absolute bare minimum settings without any fancy graphics or RTX settings, so definitely keep that in mind.

If you do want to elevate the fidelity a little, or gain some more FPS, sadly you’re going to have to do a few upgrades.

The Finals recommended system requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit (latest update)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600X processor
  • RAM: 16GB RAM
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT

If you thought the minimum system requirements for The Finals were impressive, then this is certainly shared with the set of recommended ones also. You’ll still be able to get away with a pretty old CPU which, again, is a little surprising but certainly welcomed. Naturally, the GPU is a bit beefier, but even that requirement is still user-friendly.

If you want to crank up the graphics a little and get some ray tracing going, thankfully, Embark Games has detailed some recommended system requirements for that also. Obviously, this a big jump in specs, as you would expect for any form of ray tracing.

Recommended RTX system requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit (latest update)
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600X processor
  • RAM: 16GB RAM
  • Video: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

Recommended Ultra RTX system requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit (latest update)
  • CPU: Intel i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 2700X processor
  • RAM: 16GB RAM
  • Video: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti

And there you have it, a full run down of The Finals system requirements. All in all, in our opinion, these are very generous and will definitely open the game up to a wide audience since you dont really need much CPU or GPU power to run the title.
