Due to Hogwarts Legacy having open world aspects, you’re going to be travelling a lot more than simply taking a stroll around the famous castle. While you can choose to walk everywhere, if you wish, you get to hop on a broom and get to your destination much faster and avoid any potential adversaries along the way.

However, don’t expect to be flying forever, especially if you want to get to places at a rapid rate. Luckily, you can upgrade your broom in Hogwarts Legacy to extend flight longevity so you’ll be able to get from A to B in a flash.

Below, we’ll talk you through how to upgrade your broom in Hogwarts Legacy so you can get yours as pristine as the Nimbus 2000.

If you want to upgrade your broom in Hogwarts Legacy, thankfully, it’s a simple process. All you have to do is make it to the point in the game where you’re able to visit Hogsmeade.

After this, you’ll have to progress the story a little until the Sprintwitches Sporting Needs shop is open.

Once this has been done, you’ll have to locate the shop and talk to the owner Alfie Weekes. Alfie will require you to complete the Flight Test quest. After this has been done, broom upgrades will become available.

These upgrades will enable you to fly higher for longer in the Wizarding World, allowing you to circumvent any foes on the ground and get to your next objective at the speed of light. You’ll see these upgrades take effect by checking the yellow meter in the bottom right when flying. There will also be more customization options but these will be the sole form of aesthetics.

You will have to purchase these upgrades so make sure you have enough gold on you otherwise you’re going to have to sell some of your gear to make up for it.
