The Great Eagle Bow, renowned for its power and range, is a coveted weapon in Tears of the Kingdom.
However, acquiring this legendary bow involves a series of steps, including completing a key quest and gathering specific materials akin to that of the Boulder Breaker, Scimitar of the Seven, and Lightscale Trident.
This guide will provide a detailed walkthrough on how to obtain the Great Eagle Bow, so you too can don the bow of Teba and Regali, two of Rito’s all-time greats.
How To Get Great Eagle Bow Tears Of The Kingdom
The journey to acquiring the Great Eagle Bow starts with the Wind Temple. This temple must be completed before you can proceed, as it unlocks the subsequent steps required for this quest.
Upon the successful completion of the Wind Temple, your next destination is Rito Village, where you have just cleared the storm.
Here, you will find Teba, the former owner of the Great Eagle Bow. The legendary bow that was used by himself and Regali has since been passed onto his son, Tulin, but thankfully Teba is capable of crafting another if he has the right materials to do so.
To create a new Great Eagle Bow, Teba needs three sets of materials: a Swallow Bow, five bundles of Wood, and three Diamonds.
The Swallow Bow can be easily found in a small hut off Dronoc’s Pass. Venture to the location and pick it up without having to go searching in the wild or waiting for it to drop off a foe. The precise spot you need to go to can be seen below. Just jump off the cliffside and into the hut surrounded by water.
For the wood bundles, as you traverse the game’s world, chopping down trees should have already yielded a good amount of wood. If you don’t have enough, collect more by targeting said trees with your weapon.
Diamonds are valuable and rare, found in rare ore deposits and treasure chests throughout the game world. If you are struggling to find diamonds or wish to save time, they can also be purchased in Goron City for a significant amount of rupees.
Once you have successfully gathered the Swallow Bow, the bundles of Wood, and the Diamonds, return to Teba in Rito Village. Hand over the collected items and wait as Teba crafts the Great Eagle Bow.
Completing these steps will reward you with the legendary Great Eagle Bow, a weapon that significantly enhances your combat capability with its superior range and power with its base damage of 28.
Whether you’re tackling tough enemies or striving to complete challenging quests, the Great Eagle Bow will prove to be a valuable asset in your Tears of the Kingdom adventures.
