Fort Faroth in Elden Ring is somewhere that you’ll certainly want to explore on your travels in The Lands Between as it is host to a pretty important item that you’ll need to reach Altus Plateau. Below, we’ll take you through how to get to Fort Faroth as well as what this item is and where to find it so you can check this location off your list!
Fort Faroth Elden Ring location
So, if you want to get to Fort Faroth in Elden Ring, it’s a relatively straightforward task to do so. However, the Fort is unfortunately located in the dreaded Caelid, home to some pretty high-level enemies so we’d suggest proceeding with caution.
The easiest route to Fort Faroth is to start at the Summonwater Village in Limgrave and immediately head east. This will take you directly to Caelid. Once in Caelid, keep traveling east in the same line and you should come across Fort Faroth.
If you’re struggling, simply refer to the above map and compare it with your current location.
Where to find Dectus Medallion (Right)
Once in Fort Faroth, the main thing you want to do here is to find the important item we alluded to earlier. This item is the right half of the Dectus Medallion. Both halves are needed to the Grand Lift of Dectus for you to get to the Atlus Plateau.
The Dectus Medallion is located at the top of the tower in a chest. We recommend trying your best to run past all enemies and climb all the ladders needed to reach the top as fast as possible. Once at the top, simply open the chest and you’ll have the right half of the Dectus Medallion in your possession!
After picking this up, there’s not much else to do in Fort Faroth so unless you want to take on the enemies there simply escape with your new item in hand and get to exploring elsewhere!
