Obtaining TMs in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is vital to teaching moves to your Pokemon that simply don’t have enough power by levelling alone. One particularly brilliant move for Fire-type Pokemon that offers some serious damage is Fire Blast but it’s not really clear how to get Fire Blast in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Below, we’ll detail where to find Fire Blast in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet so you can teach it to one of your toughest ‘Mons and dominate not only Trainers but also the various Gyms in the Paldea region.

How to get Fire Blast in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (TM141)

Unlike TMs such as TM143 which contains Blizzard, that requires you to perform a task to enable you to get it, Fire Blast can be found out in the Paldea region. It is, however, in a hard to reach spot that you likely won’t stumble across on your travels.

You’ll first have to get to the Casseroya Lake portion of Paldea. Advance far enough into the game so that you have visited this place already to ensure you’re able to get Fire Blast. Once you’ve confirmed that you’re able to get there, locate Casseroya Watchtower No. 3, situated on the east side of the Lake itself.

Head over to Casseroya Watchtower No. 3 and climb up the ladders attached to the building. After climbing to the top of the Watchtower, turn to your immediate right and there should be a Poke Ball on the floor. Pick it up to acquire TM141 containing Fire Blast.

Now, this is the easiest spot in our eyes for acquiring Fire Blast, but you can also pick it up near the ruins southwest of Artazon, or on the ruins by the North Paldea Sea if you wish.

After picking up the Fire Blast TM, you’ll now have the ability to craft it at the TM Machine. However, you will need to gather up some specific materials to do so. Here is exactly what you need to craft TM141:

  • 12,000 League Points
  • 5 Numel Lava
  • 3 Torkoal Coal
  • 3 Larvesta Fuzz

And that’s all you need to know. You should now be able to find Fire Blast in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with ease. Pair Fire Blast up with a strong Pokemon, one with particularly high Special Attack, and you should be able to dispatch most in your path with ease.
